Marie Hewitt at the Window Dresser is a specialist in bespoke, made to measure window treatments, upholstery and soft furnishings that started life in 1998.  Our Plymouth studio/workroom is home to a team of six ladies who work alongside Marie, helping to run the projects and make bespoke hand-sewn curtains, roman blinds and pelmets.

We can help you in choosing from a vast array of fabrics and also provide upholstery services.  We also sell fabric by the metre, curtain poles/tracks, roller, vertical, venetian, vision and Intu blinds and shutters.  We encourage you to visit us to see our small but highly skilled team in action.

Marie and her team take pride in designing and creating beautiful, handmade curtains, blinds and accessories for a variety of clients – from homeowners to large commercial projects including holiday homes, hotels and luxury yachts.

We travel to work all over the UK, having delivered projects in Jersey, Cumbria, Cotswolds, Hampshire, London and Poole to name but a few.
